What engine does the 4x4 need to make wheelies?

It will depend on the gearing but a 30.5 will give you loads of bottom end.
I would love to see the 4wd wheelie. Not sure I've seen that yet. Except in electric.

When I had my MCD monster truck I had a ESP 30.5 in it with a jetpro and I couldn't get that thing to wheelie to save my life.

Ask Hyperpete and Pablo about my BL 6S E-Maxx - goes quite well - still need to sort out the body mounts and that's it!!
Then there's the 1/16 E-Revo - best truck anywhere straight out of the box.
(Mine hit a set of metal goalposts, airborne at full speed - I forgot about the posts when I was 'playing' with the Revo - a bit messy!!)

Problem is .....

I'm a petrolhead at heart, and once I fire up the FG MT, that's it, game over - no comparison.

A 6-7kg E-maxx, or 1.5kg 1/16 E-Revo cannot compare to an 18kg FG MT, wheelying !!!!
Having said that, NOBODY believes the speed of the little E-Revo on 2 x 2S LiPo. They haven't seen it on series connected 2 x 7.2 NiMH - plain silly !!!
I DO enjoy electric, but it's 'missing something'.
