Well clipped a park bench and ripped off my front end. I found that the bracket the upper chassis brace mounts to was not installed properly which made the chassis kick up was doing all of the support I think the front end came off so easily because the aluminum was flexing aqd had stress fractures. I was going maybe 20 mph. I went ahead and ordered a turtle top plate scorpion frame and front brace I also ordered new hostile boots because my kms had ripped after a couple of tanks. When I pulled out the dogbones they were bone dry so I guess they never got greased. They have plenty of grease now. what a difference between the km boots and the hostile. I have come to the conclusion my buggy must have been built on a fri with all of the loose screws and improperly installed parts. After this I would say that less than 50% is still stock. I have spent more time working on it than running it but I def know it inside and out now. I am looking forward to some extended run time if I could just find somewhere to run it other than a boring soccer field.

Just a risk taker. Park officers not running you out? Terrible thing.
And all I have is 1000 square miles of desert and sagebrush on BLM land here in Utah. I am devastated!

Tomorrow I'm going to order the front and side windows in smoked, and the roof guard set. I think that if I order a little each payday, I will start to knock down my list and by Christmas be ready to order another motor from O'Neill Brothers (along with possibly the 2 speed tranny).

model logic 5t pipe

got one from ddm on dod and love it,, replaced my jetpro v3 with it,, got it in chrome,, see how hard to upkeep,, ,, it revs so much faster than the v3,, loves spinning my trenchers on pavement,,, and buggy tires just go up in smoke,, a bit louder then the v3 at idle,, but way louder on the pipe,,, not sure neighbors will like this one,, with truck gearing and 17/57 , has so much lowend grunt,,, I love it,,, running a stock 30.5 2bolt with a 990, revs out nice too,,,feels like a great all around pipe

Got my FF windows (smoked) today. They took about 10 min to install and look great. I'm keeping my eye on the daily deals and will order inexpensive items when I can and later in the year, I'll make some big visual changes (TR top plate, transmission plate, and motor plate) in gun metal (I want to get ALL of that orange color off of the truck. With some luck, I'll have it looking good, but running like a scalded dog!!! My major upgrade will be an OBR ported full mod with lightened flywheel, and an OBR 2 speed tranny. Just checked the deal of the day at DDM and they had the TR top plate for about $15 less than regular price, so I just snagged one!

Well, I thought today was going to be a good day. I got my TR top plate from DDM. Since this is a slow day I thought I would install it. Much to my chagrin the bolts that hold the stock top plate to the top of the chassis are stuck and the heads are stripped!!! This is news to me since I have never made an attempt to remove them. Can someone point me in the right direction on removing them?

Dremel the top of the screw head with a grinding wheel at 90 degree angle and use regular tip screwdriver to unscrew the bolt

I tried that and the metal is just way too soft. I finally got mad and took it to my LHS and it took them over an hour (and a few cuss words) to get them out. I think it may be time to make my next purchase a screw set.
