What is the dumbest thing you have done with your Baja?

Saw this on another forum and thought it would make for an interesting topic!

I haven't had my buggy long enough to do anything really stupid, but I did run my Savage into a car tire at top speed, broke the carrier, bent some shocks, and cracked my body in several spots.

Was only yesterday i took my KM out and i was getting cocky doin high speed passes past my feet!
But on the last go SPANK into the side of my foot knocked me clean on my arse!
Bearing in mind i weigh around 20 stone which i think is around 280lbs so by my account quite an impressive feat:D

Moral of the story don't pick fights with 5th scale buggies cos you aint going to win!:lol::lol:

Why talk Baja?
(Basically as I don't have one!)

1. Full bore in my LST2 Spec Raminator straight into a 'hidden' tree stump and trashed the steering arms.
2. Wanted 'direct steering' so removed the servo savers on the same LST2 Spec Ram, and trashed the servos.
3. 3S powered MERV (1/16 Mini Revo) went airborne at full speed - 50mph/80km/h - straight into the corner of a neighbour's fence!! Totally nuked the N/S arms!!!

I put mine away every winter! When you don't have a 1:1 car to get
you around winter weather is a big put off for me.

But the summer is great! I just get my dog lead and drag my
5t to my bash spot :D
 
Wont happen again

Used mine in freezing temps 16f degrees and flipped over..Found out plastic gets real brittle when below freezing..destroyed the body, 1 rim, front shocks, entire front bulk head,shock tower,Shock tower braces ect. In one roll over:mad:
 
i've been trying to have fun with mine but so far no success. went to get my baja ready but found that my brake fin plate was broke and my clutch bell was craked, oh well parts on order. xb was great till a bad landing that broke a front diff cup but no worries i'll run it with 2wd.............broke the back one today, parts on order. my back and arm feels like i just worked out at the gym for 24hrs straight after pulling that dam cord all day trying to start and keep running the firehammer. i think i may use some c4 on it and order a new motor.lol
