Thats part of the gas cap seal. The rubber piece with the 3 holes and one in the center, that should push into it. Let me guess, you found it inside your tank?

I'd leave it out and get a dubro fuel nipple and do the tank vent mod in the cap

Exactly, Moo's suggestion worked great.


I used the nipple from an old nitro exhaust, drilled a small hole in the cap and screwed it in.
