Ok I got my TT5 a few days ago. I checked the electronics and the fail safe that came with it, to make sure they work. Cuts throttle and applies brakes when signal is lost. My question is, what is the wire loop for that fits into the receiver? It's just a black wire that hoops from one terminal to another like a jumper wire. So what's it for? Thanks!

Ok that was vague. Spektrum also comes with a bind plug loop. I cant remember if you set the failsafe at the same time but you plug it in, turn on your rx, and turn on your TX and voila they are electronically linked together. Binding them comes in handy if you want to add more receivers or set the failsafe.

The wire loop for the receiver is the bind plug that binds the RX to the TX.
and once more for the mentally challenged in the group [ie...me lol] is it required i have no idea, mine is still in the bag with the coveted key chain

Haha! I have three coveted keychains! One for each Ramp I have owned. Sometimes I go to my secret spot, pull them out, smell them and rub them. I got the new version with my v3! I super covet that one! Why we covet these I don't know?

Lmfao! Wow...just...wow.

That loop is for binding your radio to another reciever so you can use the same radio with differnt cars.you don't need to do anything with it.redcat racing has videos on you tube about the 2.4 radio and rec and how it works..go to you tube and type in redcat racing dsm-2c 2.4g radio video guide..

Your radio and rec are already binded when you get it.you don't need it to set your failsafe either.just keep it with the rest of your parts.

Always check your failsafe/killswitch before every run. Reprogram the failsafe if you changed the servos, horns, linages, etc, etc. Whatever, check them before every run to be safe.
