What do all you pros do to your engine when you first start your engine after a long time (couple days to months)? Do you let it idle for 30 min? 10min? Before you run it? Do you do the same thing if you just ran the engine yesterday? Just want to have an idea on how to properly care for my engine.

less than 2 months I just fire it up at put the pedal to the metal ( been running the same engine for 5 years) more than 2 months it start it up and let it idle for 10 min and then I run it... my engine is a Zenoah and I have never had ANY problems with it in the 5 years and have never replaced a single thing on it.

If it's cold / chilly out (below 45-50 F) I'll let it warm up for a couple minutes or little longer if its colder....otherwise just start it and rip it... :D

1+ thats how I do mine alos I normally check mine with a temp gun if its cold outside and I am warming it up.

I let her idle for a min then lightly rip it and then after a min more or two I get right into things...
