hi all. These are the 2 pipes I have. what pipe will be the better option for a modded cy 28.5cc 4 bolt? I know there are better options, but i don't have them.
thanks for any advice, john.

if is that the original Dom v1 if not a clone then then Dom is better than baja SS tuned pipe . but you should know for yourself what is better when you try it..

if it's a clone, of course I'd rather choose Hpi tuned pipe . because it is a poor quality sheet metal . I didn't know that if it was a clone or an original Dom v 1 )) of course the original Dom is much better than hpi pipe

hi gents, I hope you had an awesome Sunday.
today for me was the back-to-back testing on my Baja and the 2 pipes I have on hand. this was a bag of real mixed results.
first up was the CY 290F with the clone dominator pipe. adjusted the carb settings until the motor sound happy, but could not get it over 16400rpm.
next up was a 26,2 2 bolt Zenoah. straight swap and the same results, 16200/16400.
refit the CY motor with the pigtail pipe, what a wake-up, revs up to 18500/18700. plenty bottom pull and perfect top end.
refit the Zenoah with pigtail, 18200/18400. both these motors leave me to now with another problem, I need to find a way to keep that power on the tar. it wheel spin like a drift car.
but yes the dominator pipe didn't work as well as I hoped for.
currently, I have an 8k spring on the cy290f and a 7k on the Zenoah, both were tested with the same Walbro 257 carb
