So I have the Leopard 58110 runing on 8s. Was curious, if it can handle 12S? On the web it is stated it can handle 44V (12S is 44.4V) but "only" 170 Amps. I will have to change the stock ESC with the new Ezrun Max5. So if that 0.4V is not a problem, will the amps be? How to know, how much will be going through the motor? Reason to moving to 12S is, the motor is gettin pretty hot. I already went significantly down with the temps, by installing mech brakes instead of reverse/draft. Have also 2 fan shroud. But after 20min of bashing, motor is not to be touched. I try not to run in thermal brake and would love more run time.
