Hey I raced tears ago 95-2000, 00' was my last year got into APBA full size Factory 2 and 01 Super Cat with good success. Enough of that though.
When I raced at North Coast Pondhoppers IMPBA rules, in Cat Class(Aeromarine Team USA w/ J&G 25.6cc) and Hydroplane class(Hoover Hydro's Lightning B.H. Hansen 22.5cc pro mod). I still have these 2 boats in process of repaint and would like to re-power for their classes. What engines does everybody recommend? Are my 10-12 year old engines still worthy? they have'nt been run since 01'

Thanks like to get back to kicking some rooster tail this year, with these two boats.

theres quickdraw and cc racing they seam to be popular, but the quickdraws can only be raced in opean class.

i have a quick draw 25ht i like is sofar worked out cheaper then most once you include a pipe but i will only use mine for a sports boat user.

check out jims rc boat doc for some rc boating info on what you can and cant use for rc boat racing
