What road tyres to use on Elcon wheels

Hi guys, similar to my thread in the HPI Baja section and sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it might apply to more than one car. I've decided to get a set of elcon wheels, eith all 4 or just the rears. But don't know what tyres to get. When it says stantard FG size tyres, is the the marder sized ones? Or are all of the FG cars the same. I need some tyres that will mork on cold dry tarmac as well as wet tarmac so I can still use my Baja during the winter. There are lots of second hand FG road tyres on ebay premounted on FG wheels. Could I unmount them then reglue to the elcon rims? The road tyres look wider than marder tyres tho, so would I need the rim extensions?

MCD has some great treaded on road Tyres.
the tires are mede for the MCD Baja 1000 and Race Runner

i have monted them on FG rims and they were a female dog to get on the rims but they work great.
i think the Elcon Rims are a little bit smaler i diameter than the FG rims.
