Hello,I have a hitech HS-705MG servo for the steering servo and it doesn't seem to have enough steering power. What servo are you useing?

Hitec HS5745MG - Search around on here and you will find some cheap sellers link from ebay.

Is your radio system allowing the full 6volts to get to the servo?

EDIT:

Searching was a pain. Heres the site for the best price I could find.

I am running the Hitec 5745 also. It's been flawless for 2 years! A cheaper alternative could be the Hitec 805, it usually costs about $40-$50.00 from Towerhobbies.com But it plastic gears though. My friend has one in her Monster Hummer and it works fine.

I use the Rhino digi 4 servo....I also have a TS-80 for a back servo....But more than
likely use the TS-80 servo for my cable brakes...Now there's some torque in that servo..

the rihno digi4 is the same as HS5745MG on the inside

i have a local forummember that rep. them, and he says it they are identical

Since you're in Canada get a 5745 from Great Hobbies. Excellent prices fro Hitech servos and you don't pay PST since it's out of province.

Are you sure? Looking at various web pages they differ in spec even though the case looks identical size/shape wise.

I know the spline is different. A Rhino spline is the same as a 805 spline otherwise guys would use the blue aluminum 5745 horns on Rhino's.
