What to check before buying

Will the seller let you pull it apart before you buy it? Look for wear on the cups and center diff that will tell if it has been run before.

Because, what if someone already buy it and give it back bcuz of some factory deffect, then they will try to re-sell it to other customers, and this will be my 1st gasoline rc, so want to know some check list , to know what should it be, and if the seller is honest, we have local seller here, but sometimes he has a bad mood (he is chinese)

Sorry I was not aware that your local hobby store would sell bad product.

WOW I would think its time to find a new hobby shop if they would do something like that!!!!! I know I would not shop there.

There should be no carbon in the cylinder or on the piston. If you see oil that's ok. It may have been started or have assembly lube in there.

The drive cups should not have wear. If they do it has been driven a lot. Even after a couple of tanks of driving during break-in mine never show wear.
