I like the xb but its not on the voteing list .I like the xb for raceing. So it would have to be the xt cuz it`s the same as thexb.

I voted XBE for overall liking but the MT/TT would be my choice for gas. The XB is currently down for conversion to XBE so the TT V1 is what I have been running. With the 2 speed in the XB loses all if it's lightweight advantage. The extra weight on the TT is really noticable on handling in a good way which I kinda miss. I also miss the fact that it's a heavy duty design and I've never had to worry about tiny 19mm bearings going out on me.

Any chance you may elaborate on this more? Soaking in all the info possible before pulling the trigger on my first 1/5th scale. Thought I was set on the x-sc but see redcat racing shop has an awesome deal on the Mt which would offset the additional cost of having to get 7075 hubs off the cuff for the x-sc. Fyi, either one I get is getting a two speed as soon as you get them out!

If it's your first 5th scale, I'd go for the MT/TT. It's durable, the chassis layout is great, it's easy to work on, and it's just beefy in general. I've never had a bearing blowout on my MT, but it's pretty common with the XB/XT due to the smaller bearings they use.

I still really can't pick a favorite. The MT is great, tough and lots of possibilities for hop-ups. It toughness comes at a price. It's heavy. The XB is really fun also. I haven't broke anything yet, but that's because I've been adding hop-ups more than I've had a chance to drive it. The XB is way faster than the MT out of the box. It's almost 10 lbs lighter. If you don't have a big budget for hop-ups or repairs I would recommend the MT or TT.
