I got myself a 5B SS kit, and while i was at it grabbed a brake upgrade as i read a lot of good reviews on it. I also got myself some outwear covers and shock socks just to keep them all nice n purty (and add some color ). Aside from a KRC Kill switch what other things would you suggest?

Bearings? Pipe? Clutch? Deflectors?

Since its already in a million pieces i figure its a great time to slap some of those preventive/nice to have upgrades on while i'm ductaping and shoo gooing parts together in a futile attempt to put this crazy contraption together :p.

I've got idea for certain parts; like getting some pipe wrap, getting some good servos and possibly swapping the A-Arms for RPM arms as they held up like a boss (:cup-1:) on my Traxxas Slayer.

So, what would you suggest i go ahead and replace/upgrade right out of the gate?

i suggest watching the build series of this kit on youtube done by teamfasteddy. he goes thru the entire build page by page and suggests alot of really good upgrades. a few off the top of my head is the teamfasteddy bearing kit. upgraded stronger bearings that are made of stainless steel so they wont rust. also the clutch bell housing and the dog bones are good areas to upgrade. theres a few others he mentions and gives links to the websites to order them. overall their all good upgrades, some arent crucial to upgrade but it makes for a stronger vehicle in the end

get a killer rc superbee kill switch first, bearings are good, fast eddy, avid and others make kits,, rpm arms are nice,, its a 5b ss,, check the fluids, shock, diff , etc put it together and run it,, if u break something,, u can always upgrade it,,,
