Is it ok to Idle your engine for 5 minutes? I was running my Fg today and it had to be over 100 , started to BS with my buddy and just let it run. Can you
get damage this way? It ran really well in the heat. Just wondering :)
 
i don't think there is a problem with that at all. the same thing has happened to me with on lookers. i love letting them idle. specially coming from nitro. you let a nitro idle for 5 minutes and your out of fuel. as teamchrome say's, with the motor shroud on you will be fine, the only thing i would consider letting it idle for some time and turning it off. could foul a plug.. maybe.
 
you should be fine. just be sure your not jetted on the lean side and all will be good.
 
Worst that I think could happen is it load up with oil/fuel and choke out or run thick until it burns out the loaded fuel/oil. Your OK. I would say, your ride hates you for waiting for your conversation to end. :laugh:
