which gear ratio for the MT??

which gear ratio would you prefer on the MT?? now i use 36-27-19-30 wonder if i should change the c and d gears.
hope you got a good ratio i can use.

What engine (size, stock or modified etc) do you have?

The ratio you are using is recommended for the Race Runner buggy and not the Monster Truck.

i have 29cy engine with jetpro tuned pipe(soon the victory pro pipe)
maybe i have those gears since i have a proline MT,maybe??

I guess that MCD don't expect many Monster Truck owners to use a tuned pipe so they have played safe with their gearing recommendations.

Have you tried 33, 30, 19, 30 or even 30, 33, 19, 30?

Like you I'm hoping to get the Victory Pro pipe but I'm still waiting for evidence (dyno results) that it is significantly better than the Samba Race Runner pipe I currently use. Victory RC haven't even updated their website with dyno results for the latest Pro pipes for the HPI Baja...

I might take a risk and get one and have it dynoed when I have my race engine serviced next month.

no i haven`t tried that ratio. i will try that tomorrow and see how it works. need to figure out which ratio is best and than buy some steel gears. should i change the inner gears(19-30) to (24-25??) want some more accleration on the car:w00t:

If you want more acceleration try 27, 36, 19, 30...

Try a heavier (thicker) weight oil in the shocks - something like the MCD 750 or even 1000 weight oil.
