my questions are...

1. KM vs Rovan, everything i search (mostly google and forums) is from older models, so as far as 2012, are both rovan and KM building a better product? I have never owned any 1/5TH scale yet so im clueless

2. if i do decide to go the 5T route, is the KM worth the extra money over the Rovan?? Any differences that you guys know about??

All iv notices is for the 5B, Rovan has Walbro 668 carb (thats what it says), 26cc engine, KM comes with outerwears on pullstart and filter, I'v read from a few the "flat" looking KM tires last a while?


Experiences or Opinions whatever information you guys want to give the more i can learn the better!! Thanks to all for your help! i just want to get the most for my dollar!

oh, and if it helps, im not a hard basher or a racer, i just run them for fun and enjoy the hobby, not financially wealthy, but i do work and i have always enjoyed R/C's, have had many many nitros, many electric, never 1/5th scale

Imo the km is better than the rovan.

I just picked up a new KM 5B for the wife and we are very happy with it. She is having a blast (me as well). Just one easy tank so far but hopefully we will get some time this weekend to run some fuel through it.

just out of curiousness, it seems alot of people say the rovan falls behind due to servos and carb, the one i was looking at on ebay says it comes with a walbro carb installed, and if its $100 cheaper than the KM, would it be worth it? i might be over analyzing everything, i just want to have a reliable truck for the cheapest $$$$$$... i don't jump houses or race, i just really love watching them run around i guess... i love the look of the trophy truck, so im definitely leaning towards T1000/Terminator... just don't know which is the right choice...
