As in the title....my 18t pinion is to large to mesh with a new 48t spur I picked up so I was wondering what size pinions would fit ok......I'm guessing 16t?

yeah it would be a 16t on fgs they add up to 64 in total

Read in other threads, but there's a very important thing to consider.
If you've a plastic spur, ONLY consider plastic or alloy pinions - DO NOT use steel - they'll rip the spur apart - slowly or quickly.
