Yep, I really struggled with my MT for about a month before I got all the bugs worked out. Now, it is pretty darn reliable....but not as realiable as my 5t. My 5t with a 30.5 hauls the mail and proline excavators, gets tons of traction. HPI has 99% of the bugs worked out if the 5t. Right now, I enjoy my 5t more. I can count on it staying together. Now, if HPI comes out with a 4WD...I will buy it! I love HPI quality.
Thats kinda the impression I'm getting.. I'm hanging in there with the ramp. Got too much invested and it's got to be close by now..

It gets better. I call it bulletproofing. At least with these Redcats the whole truck doesn't need bulletproofing (like Traxxas), just a few parts if they break. It took me months to get mine Hamsterproof. We all drive differently so we bullet proof differently so you have to do it by trail and error. Mine very rarely gives me any problems. Mostly when something goes wrong its maintenance, regular wear and tear, or operator error. Example: my CY head ate itself so now Im out for 3 weeks. Totally not a redcat problem. Its gotton to the point the other parts break, not the redcat parts. My backup until my v3 gets here is a 5t. :o
