why are so many used bajas for sale?

its just the era of the losi 5t its got the size and the drive plus with the modern engines that can produce over 8-10hp now it makes good sense not saying that the Baja's cant take that sort of power its the fact a 4wd losi can

when the first Baja's came out that overtook the fg marder now the losi's taken over the Baja's no big deal in fact its all good making them cheaper helps newcomers get in to the hobby

I started off with the FG as that was what Voo was running at the time but then got myself a 2nd hand Baja and that was a game changer compared to the FG...i've since had the Losi 5t and currently converting to a short buggy style chassis/look which i may race next yr...

I still have the Baja as i love the 2wd action it gives...old thread i know but i believe the Baja will be around for a good while yet..

When a baja can do that with stock suspension and drive away I'd say it's durable. That's my 5t with a kraken cage. Which has nothing to do with suspension. I'd pit a baja against a losi any day for durability. Drivability no. But 2wd is more fun in the dirt. Don't get me wrong the losi is awesome. That's why I own one. I would also agree that there's more out there now and people like variety with the new latest and greatest.

Latest greatest gets the attention.
Not taking anything away from LOSI and Horizon Hobby, as they have a very good product.

PLUS-

The HPI promotion machine has been shut down, and no longer works to keep peoples attention.

All adds up to the LOSI 5ive T being king of the mountain right now.
