Why is this happening?

The steel square hub the brake discs ride on(just released). right now they are aluminum with a set screw that wont stay tight unless you put another one in on top of it to jamb it. I tried tread locker as well and it held for a little bit but in the end it was another set screw tightened on top of the first that fixed it. Just for a note you will need to find a shorter set screw to put in first. Another idea is to use an SAE set screw which will bind in the metric threads but this is a one time deal. the first time you remove it you are done.

Loll...!! when I take all my axle to put locktite on it, I found almost all the axle ball end are cracked, I post a pic of the center axle, but all the other are cracked too.
