Will the Dirt Busters that come with the 5b SBK electric explode under 8s power?

Just checking to see if any of you has actually tried the stock dirt buster tires on the re-release. The box says 8s compatible, but I feel like the Castle XLX2/800kv combo I am going to put in there will make them explode. I am really thinking about the DDM Diggers. Has anyone tried them on 8s?

you will blow a tyre off the bead sometime fella,
i've blown a lot over the years with petrol/gas power,
grab yerself a couple spare sets of rears of whatever brand/make you want and take em with you when you go for a bash ,
and yes you will blow the bead on dirt busters ,
the go to tyre used to be the uber vipers, they still blow the bead at times,
i think @John Parks is using the akill tyres at the moment, he will have some good info probably on how they perform,

I'd run the akill super spikes personally, ddm also has the madmax spikes which so far are promising to.

I’ll go ahead and order the diggers. I loved the DDM mad max giant knobs I had on my DBXL-E. I’ll look into the spikes too and maybe have a few sets to switch in and out.

i still have a set of four hostile nightmare tires i wonder how they would work on the electric vesla.

Old thread but I have been running the stock busters on my flux with 8s and they are hanging tough so far. Not a racer just a basher type user.
