So I'm new to owning the baja type rc,and am curious to this. I see you can buy some really cool windows for these baja types. Are there pro's and cons? I would think it would kill air flow to the filter but on the other hand keep it clean? Opinions?

Through the years, everyone i've seen that has owned them, loved them and have not complained. There are little gaps around to still let air in and i've seen some people drill a few holes in them as well. I think the windows would keep some dirt out, but is mainly for larger debris, such as leaves and grass blades.

It's a good investment and looks terrific on the baja IMHO

I agree totally. Ran mine the first few times without windows and the air filter was FILTHY !! (get an outerwears for air filter too - a "must"!)
Then made my own windows (from perspex sheet off ebay , £3 !)
Worked a treat. Air filter stays MUCH cleaner and it keeps loads of debris out of the back end.
don't worry about the air flow.... the fan will look after that !!
And I think they look really cool too !!!:clown:
