Made me some ice tires for my FG, and I can't wait for the ice to come :)

I will do that :) In my head these will perform better on hard snow and ice.
Chains I think would be better for packed and loose snow. But I will let you know :)

Nice job revo, i would've gone with the spike studs personally as Al said, Oh yeh eye protection is a must!

You've probably added too many actually.
TAKE GREAT CARE when you first start ripping it, and ensure none are working loose!!!

Chains? Are you sure? Do you really want the hassle?

Al.

Is there such a thing for rc's ? never seen them!

I have seen chains on RC vehicles.
I'm not sure if they were large scale or '1/8-1/10', mass produced or a custom one-off.

For the relative power, and total lack of patience, plus the fun - I only stopped as my hands were freezing and my lad wouldn't leave me - didn't want him to catch a cold.
I would have stayed out for another hour or more - GREAT FUN!!

Another time, I used it to break up the packed snow/ice, and permit me to remove it, so I could get my car out ...

looks cool mate, where did you buy these from? do they good, with alot off grip?

They really are brilliant.
You must ensure the screw is threaded in very tightly - there is a 'major health risk' involved!!
Fortunately, not one has ever come out, a couple loosened a little initially.

I use Kold Kutters from DDM - brilliant!!

'Grip' was stunning!
I almost flattered myself, as the truck didn't bog, so the tuning must have been spot on, and it took off 'ballistically' !!

ironically....

in my lil avitar picture is my 1/6th scale nylint crawler wit chains i made. i used this rig to plow my driveway wit 4" of snow or less. lol neighbors use to laugh, but i was the one inside, smoking a cig, drinking a coffee... lol i also made them for my scx10 honcho, savage x 4.6 rtr, revo 3.3, t-maxx 3.3, e-maxx, caldera 10e, and my nylint... they worked awesome. but its studds this year for the baja or just sand paddles... do you think any silicone or epoxy would help hold the studds in??? or is that going too far???
