I have been wanting to build a large scale buggy for quite some time, vassilisG being my main inspiration.

I didn't want to really start building until I worked out how to build a heavy duty servo. Thanks to the "Servo Thor-15" I can get going. Got mine from lipoly.de.

Here is the first test;

I normally build stuff like this;

I hope you guys don't mind hosting my build when I finally get going after some home reno's are done.

Cheers,

Kevin

Nice work and i love the chopper....

Is there a slight delay in the re-action time with the tx and servos, looks a bit off on the vid...

Thanks, the matching truck is the next project!

Here is my son for scale, he is about 33 inches tall.

Make the matching truck an Iron Man, .... or Max D, .... or Grave Digger, .... or Blue Thunder ....
Loads of choice.

Thanks a lot fellows!

Gary, I'll send you a link.

Jack, I don't think there is a delay, but it does need some help self centering. I just used a piece of coat hanger wire to connect the arms for feedback and testing. If I take out the slop and get them parallel, I think it will work better.

I don't know if the Conley is, but this one, that I have made a small start on, will be; (7 inches long)
