Would one kit do it with 4wd?

I bought 1 kit of hydraulic brakes, for two wheels, for now. Maybe get one more kit later, I think they cost alot of money.
As I have the 4x4 kit, would 1 kit in theory do it? If I brake the rear wheels, won't the front brake also?

if its a locked center diff it'll work, but it'll put alot of strain on the center driveline.

what truck do you have?

running 1 set of brakes on the front will stock the truck, but as mentioned it puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain. id run the 1 set of brakes on the front and continue to run the factory driveline brake.

Yes, I went that way. Will think of buying another kit next month, but will stay with hydraulic front and stoch brakes for now.

The FG/magura 2 hydraulic layshaft brake works well.
