I am looking at the costs saved with the HY motor, servos and the TX/RX and if the line would benefit better if Redcat could sell them without the parts they don't have a control over in regards to QC...

BTW, I like the XB a lot..just looking at viable options to buy another one without wasting time on typical RTR issues...

The expense of a new engine would keep me from buying one. The radios are inexpensive to make now, good jumping off point with them coming rtr. Engine can be upgraded with a headkit for cheap. You get more people with a rtr. If they had some Deluxe edition that was blinged out for racing, then yeah, I'd leave out the radio and maybe the engine. But for a beginner rtr, leave it all in.
