So I recently sold a HPI RS4 EVO on ebay. Buyer was in France so I shipped thru the global shipping program. Last night I get a message saying my package is under review. So this am I call ebay and they tell me they have confiscated my package because it had used motors inside!?! They consider them a dangerous item. I ask why it was allowed to sell thru and no good reason was given. After going into a bit of a panic and trying not to get loud with the rep she tells me that ebay refunded the buyer and also is letting me keep the money from the sale. She said the reason the package was red flagged was because of my listing title. I had "extra motors" "used" and "nitro" in the title. For some reason the word used is a red flag and they opened the box. Which is a bit crazy because there is/was nothing dangerous in that box, I cleaned everything spotless! No fuel! What a roller coaster of a phone call. First I was told my package is being returned which I'm thinking great I'm out the shipping costs then I was told it's being confiscated and finally explained I get to keep my money. Ebay and paypal never cease to amaze me with their BS.

Anyone else have a similar scare?

In this day and age I can fully understand why the word "Nitro" gets their attention, however, upon opening the box they should have a little more training and intelligence before halting the shipment. Just plain stupid on their part.
