xb-e pinion question

So my xb-e came with a stock 10T pinion. I got the 11T from redcat. I noticed though the pitch is slightly different ?.


Anyone notice that ?. It seems however to mesh fine with the stock spur so I assume it is mod 1.5

Anytime you up the pinion you'll get more speed, granted the new amp draw can be met by the batteries and ESC. if 48spur going up from 10 to 11 changed FDR from 14.4 to 13.09. That's a big change.
 
Haven't tried the new pinion yet, but with the 10T/ 1600kv motor my xb-e was doing about 50mph. I need more speed. Not too worried about the batteries as I am using 40C's in parallel. Should give me about 3mph more realistically. Eventually I want to go up to a 14T.
 
Hi Vision i know its been a while :) but have you tried the 1.5 11T gear.
