I don't think it came out as my best, but Im pleased with it. It has a couple of little crappy spots on it but I think I can cover them up. It was a b**** to get the factory paint off a get it in good enough shape to respray.

I started out using dot 4 brake fluid like alot of videos on utube say. That don't work on factory paint. I think its a screen print or something that they use. I went to autozone and got a can of Oops. It has a acetone in it. It took it right off, but clouded it. So the most work was getting the cloudy look out of it.

Obeast, go ahead and drop your body off. You know what its going to look like when I get it finished! I would've gone with lime green/black but I could find it in a paint for poly.

I spryed it down with Mean Green and used a very wore SOS pad, alot of elbow grease. It didnt get all of the cloudiness out but it got enough for the paint to cover it!

NICE job! I did this to a Tamiya Boomerang body about 10 years ago. It was a female dog on a 1/10th scale. I can't imagine the fun it was on a body this size. It looks really good! Once I painted it, I don't recall any cloudiness that was showing at all.

Yeah, the paint covered up probably 99% of it. I actually stipped it twice. The first go around I went with yellow/black and thought it looked a little funky. So I picked the orange. I thought a little deeper color would cover better. Thanks for the positive comments. I know its far from perfect. I would really like to get an airbrush set up eventually, and try some other stuff.

Aww come on man, you know you want to repaint one of my bodies for me. And I don't mean putting a large pink 8===> on it either!

The more I looked at the new paint job the more I didnt like it. So its stripped down again. I found the green paint I used on my baja, so Im going with Lime green/Black. what I wanted in the first place.
