That's how I had my RX battery. Only I put the wires on the bottom and wrapped the battery in some electrical tape. Also, I lined the bottom of the receiver box with some foam to protect the wires.

The new layout looks good, though!

That's a great idea! Looks great too...

I was able to fit all my crap in the stock box with a 5000mah and a killswitch....I'd might ease up the space with this idea...

You need a killswitch...you won't regret someday when you need it.

wives don't get the excitement factor of building it and sitting back and enjoying your accomplishment. I think it looks really coool...and get a kill switch.just put one on mine and installed a home made l.e.d. light .thats what your new reciever box needs a l.e.d. light..
