does anyone know or tried to fit this diff into an FG whether it will fit and run without problems.

There are some on ebay reasonable price and if they fit happy days
 
Just in looking at it looks like you would have to install diff risers so it would not hit the frame - If it worked. Sorry not sure.:no:
 
You tried contacting the vendor on E-bay and asking for dimensions? That may help, also to know about how the gear mounts and the dimensions with gear and gear count would help as well. Even if the diff would mount, you still have to be able to run a ring gear. Best bet contact the vendor, or ask IMEX RC they had the XRC in their R/C Program.
