xrc2 shell

as anyone tried using or making a different shell for these buggies

haven't made one but sprayed it silver primer, ground the old 2 coats of paint of with my dremmel then pound shop primer, looks good

yea in the middle of 1 getting made, get hold of a shuttle pc outer case and go from there 2 hours and it should have it done if u got all the tools to do the job, or if ur not that fussey the base plate from a leckky cooker if it got a groove on it use it as a top plate from the air filter to the rear wing, if u get hold of an old drum from a washing machine & some half inch flat bar make ur self some real kool mud guards, or if u wanted some checker plate cut ur self an new base plate make it lighter 4 a bit more speed,1 rule keep it simpull

that what you call thinking outside the box, you guy's should post some pictures of the build and the finish

do you guy's think there's a market for a after market on shell's i haven't found anything on shell's for the xrc2 off road buggy

The only shell i have made if for my Losi xxl 1/8 from fiberglass http://thesilverdagger.co.uk/Gallery/

i rekon i will be looking at making a shell for my xrc when i get the gears shredding issue fixed
