Nice work, noticed you took the side protectors off, thats gonna let allot of crap in the tray, easier to clean though! :)

Like the tyres, they should last a while.

I don't run the cover over my side gears anymore either. Run 3+ tanks like this and haven't had a problem.

Is the engine sitting a little further back than stock? I notice you have a rubber hose coming out of muffler. If I ran a straight pipe it would hit the roll cage. I have to bend a peice of hose but it only lasts half a tank before it cracks because of the bend. This shouldnt be an issue with my tuned pipe though because there are no hose bits on it! :) All all baby :cool2:

ive noticed theres quite a difference between some of these engines, as the fitting that holds your clutch bell on,
covers both shafts therefore preventing them spreading ie saving gears,
mine only covers the bell an not the pinnion shaft, mine is a newer model i think

That's because he put FG gear plate and FG bulkhead.

it's looking good. I'd still swear those are firehammer mt rear arms or (add other brand clone). I have them on my fg vw. you could cheap out and get the front arms too from tower and widen it.

hi roof chopper, maybe u can help im in the same boat as u chewing gears all the time, ive bought an fg marder alloy gear plate but the fittings are different to the xrc, can you tell me what alloy part replaces the plastic that the clutch plate bolts 2, i know i need to mod alot im prepared for that,
just need a list of what 2 use, so far vented clutch bell, alloy gear plate an brake, any help appreciated

hi mate, you will need the fg, large engine mount, clutch cover for the engine which allows you to lay the engine, the gear plate and rear end.
you can use the xrc rhd engine mount, the lhd engine mount hangs over the chassi so you will need an exstention on the side, you will need to transfer the rear end mounting point from a fg chassi to your chassi,
mod up the shox tower and a brace from the diff housing to the engine, hope this helps thanks chopper

chopper nice 1 m8, your infos appreciated, when u say lay do u mean drop the engine, or by lay u mean fit an support the clutch/ plate ? i understand most an im getting there with parts will keep u all updated

hi mate, you need the fg on road clutch cover so the engine can be bolted to your gear carrier, you will need to space it for the clutch bell clearance
