xt carb settings

hello everybody i am getting my xt ready for it's first run and i noticed while going over everything the carb adjustment is 1 1/4 h and 1 1/2 low and that is what it says to set it at in the book all my other cars are 1 1/2H 1 1/4L is this normal thank you

you always have to ajust the carb settings yourself, the setup from the factory isn't adjustet as the engine have never ben broken in, be shure to break in your engine before your first race.

The base settings vary.

The more common base settings are..

H - 1 1/2 turns out.

L - 1 1/4 turns out.

yes this is the settings on all my other cars i am going to run it and go from there

Those base settings are just for break in. They don't have to be exact. It just needs to idle and run so you can perform a good break in.
