I just bought a used XT-E, it's all stock. I ran it today and after about 10 minutes of bashing on dirt it slowed way down as if it hit LVC. I temped the motor and it was over 200 degrees. I don't think this motor is up to the task.


Reading on here it seems the Leopard 5692 1340 KV seems to be the best swap. Can someone tell me if it is a straight swap (no mod required) using the stock mount. Also, is this the best choice for a motor swap. Thanks.

It's a good motor but the KV is a little high for the stock gear ratio 10/41

I ran mine at 10/48 with six cells on the stock ESC
