XT Problems need help

I recently got a 30cc rampage XT (2 weeks ago) and ive had one problem after another. The time ive had it, ive spent my time waiting for a receiever in the mail. Its ran a total of 5 feet. My first inital problem was the receiver that came with it would not bind with the transmitter, so i got a new one from redcat racing and it works perfect. My next and bigger problem goes back to the engine. When i first started it today the motor would idle but not rev. So i adjusted the carb slightly and got a total of 5 feet of run time, then it just quit. :mad: :mad:I adjusted the car back to original settings, now it wont start. I got spark on the plug and the gas mixture is perfect. Now what do i do? :confused:
 
Sounds like the running is off. Where are your needles set? They don't always come set correctly from the factory.
 
My shot in the dark..

Check to see that the hose on top of the carburetor is the return line.

There's been more than a few that discovered the hoses for supply and return are backwards..... That's poorly worded but maybe it will make sense.
 
Well folks..my left needle was turned in and my right was out about 1 1/2 turns. The hoses on the carb was installed correctly. How far out should i adjust the needles to?
 
I took apart the fuel cap and just blew it out. I then readjusted the needles to where rcdad said, tweeked it out and it took right off! Ran 3 tanks thru it and had a blast! The info from everyone is much appreciated!
