Man I have not seen 1 of those for years..they were introduced in the 80'S
hard to find parts for now ..But you can find them....You will have to do a google search
on the Yankee.....Think they were out of Germany..Can't remember.....Slawhammer

Yankee is a French company that is now defunct. i think the early 90s they closed up shop.
great large scalers for the time. they typically ran the Kawasaki (yes the same Kaw we have today) F7 25cc motor that was modified from an old kaw weed whip motor i believe. not sure if Kaw made the changes ( i believe they did) to the motor, or if Yankee bought the motors and then made the changes. but i think it was Kawasaki that modded the motors for Yankee and called it the F7 motor.
don't know to much else, other than they were pretty well made, and as noted, HARD to get parts for anymore.
