It's no biggie - just gotta jiggle it into place.

Now that I think about it maybe I've bent the bottom mounting plate cause the wing is now touching the top of the pipe.

Have to have a look when I get time.

Went to a local track today which is kinda small for a 5th scale, which meant I wasn't able to pick up any speed and so not much air flow to cool the engine. Add the fact that the track was in the sun and the temperature was about 40°C (104°F) and you get a very hot engine. The telemetry was really helpful here because I could immediately see the engine go up to 125°C (from the normal ~110) and give it some time off in the shade and then running it for the rest of the day with a richer mix. Really happy with the telemetry on the FS-IT4.

I'm not very big on telemetry but I got to say it's a cool feature to have sometimes. Like today my 5675MH burned as I was driving. The alarm on the 4PLS went off (RX battery level below 5V). Freshly charged RX battery, strange! Stopped the buggy, went to check and my 5765MH was just smoking like no business. Turned off the receiver and disconnected the battery (external emergency quick battery disconnect) . So the servo burning dropped the RX battery level below 5V which triggered the alarm thanks to telemetry.

I ran into a small issue yesterday, after taking a hit (the stupid track has a ~1m fall if you go off the track, I almost stopped it sideways at the edge and then it just tipped over and landed on its right rear wheel), the shock rod came out of the plastic part that attaches to the lower suspension arm (see image below). I screwed it back in and after a few jumps it came out again. I'm guessing the thread in the plastic part got destroyed. The question is, since I'm in Europe and getting the shock rebuild kit (which contains that plastic part) delivered will take up to 3 weeks, do you see any problems with just using glue to make sure it doesn't come out again?

The plastic part still screws on the rod and doesn't come off when pulling hard, so the thread is not completely gone, I'm guessing this means the glue will have a pretty good chance to keep it together. If it doesn't work, I will probabily go for a pair of upgraded shocks.

Yeah, that's a small concern with the super glue, it grabs pretty quickly, not sure I'll be able to get all the way through the thread. I also have some of that glue for which you need to mix two substances, that also gets really hard in the end, but it needs a couple of hours to harden.

I think you're talking about epoxy which probably won't stick to that type of plastic.

I'd screw it up about half way then put the super glue on

I think I can use an electric drill to screw the plastic part in really quick, I'll try it without glue and see how it goes

If you have it in Europe, Gorilla glue foams as it dries and will create material to fill in the gap! But whatever you do keep in mind wether you going to reuse any of the parts.

I thought about reusal, if this doesn't work, I'll just change the entire shock as it comes to about $18 while getting the repair set which includes that plastic bit is about $15 so doesn't make sense to not change the entire shock.

In that case glue the hell out of it and let it sit for it to fully cure!

Good plan and then you'll have the old one for parts

I don't think my pull starter is going to last much longer, can you guys recommend a better option?
