As for the alloy bumper... don't do it!! you want the bumper to be flexible, an alloy bumper will more than likely push any damage onto the chassis which may cuase the chassis to bend under a heavy impact!!) ...seen it happen a few times over the years!

Oh never thought about that but make's a lot of sense. I need to change the servos on it. What would you recommend ?

I dug this out in the basement the other day. This was a kit from the 80s that I never even finished. I just slapped the body on it without finishing any of the interior or detailing. I guess back then I couldn’t wait to run it.
I have all the original parts a lot of them still on the trees so this will be a restoration project and eventually make it to the shelf

I bet some of the "crawler" guys would love to have that hard body..
