I am building my first engine using Zenoah cases. I noticed on there exploratory view on the crank there is a shim on the flywheel side, which the CY engines do not show our use from my experience. Is this shim used in all Zenoah engine or only as needed to set end play? I will be running a +2, 30mm crank and if I am not mistake the only ones that make stroker cranks are CY. Are these needed when using a CY crank with Zenoah cases? I do not have my crank yet but when I put it together I will check endplay but was wondering what others experience have been.
