Oil:Gas (Petrol) in that order is 1 (ONE) : 25.
Its normally referred to the other way around; GAS:OIL, and people talk about 25:1.
This is the only lubrication the engine gets, so making it leaner doesn't liberate much more performance and can risk damaging the motor.
It is considered safe to go up to 32:1, certainly for non-extended use.
I run for perhaps 20 minute periods, not hours at a time, and use Castrol fully synthetic oil, and run at 32:1.
You can see mention of 40:1, even higher, but this is for lower revving 'weed wacker' engines. It is not recommended to use these ratios.
