hi guys that got of to a well wierd start

my question basicly was my lock down build buying piece by piece is now finally a car lol

at a cost of just shy oh £7000 ............95 % alloy

most parts from rc car online de
and taylor rc

is this normal or high ?????

show us yours and aprox figues........

He deleted his post. He wanted to know how much an all aluminum build costs in comparison to his. I think he was around $8k for his. Seems about right. @FG-paul you got everyone’s attention now why don’t you add your post back in. A lot of us have expensive builds. I seen it myself but didn’t have time to go in depth with it.
 
I'm single and don't know how much i have into any of my RC's. I flew RC Helicopters just a 3D flying became a thing. Crash once inverted and you will never tally up anything in RC.
Ditto, ended up just getting out of flight altogether.
As per the op question. Last build I did was my vekta, stopped keeping track around the $4k mark. Doesn't matter in the end, really, I have $40k sank into my 79 f-350 during its restoration. A hobby is for enjoyment not so much the money end of things. If it puts you in the hole, thats a different story. But all in all I would have spent the money on something anyway so may as well be in something I enjoy.
