The DBXL is ok I have one but they need quite a few upgrades and will never be as good as a 5ive.The DBXL is a nice entry level truck but like I said it will never measure up so if you can just wait a little longer to get it and it will save you tons in the long run.

X2 I like my dbxl, owned for a wile now. But the money sank in to make it reliable was quite a bit. Works good now tbh, and takes quite a beating.

The front and rear diffs melt the driveshafts need to be upgraded.The suspension needs a major upgrade and it isn't a bolt on upgrade you need to get creative and make the 5ive suspension fit.

I no servos are weak possible will need a pipe only as a 23cc possible engine upgrade

The 5ive t 2.0 has a zenoah G320 engine 32cc so the engine is much stronger ??

Didn’t realise they was so weak and I can’t even use my radio got a spectrum one with the module in the back off a Ko transmitter So it won’t bind with that

The upgrades arnt hard to do. I've melted 2 diff housings in 6ish years. The 5ive t shocks arnt hard to do either, just costly. Driveshafts aren't real expensive either. The 5ive t platform is just better all around. It's the king of 4x4 for a reason.

Sometimes I think with theses rtr models I think it’s waste off time to put radio etc in there lot off the time guys take them out any way to use there own

Yep, I ditch it and run my futaba gear...
