I can't judge. what do you think? it seems fine to me, only ... the top is hammered from the pin..I'd hope for a new top end, that cylinder probably is scarred too?

100% right there.yes very lucky with the cylinder. to me, it would be better to open the crankcase to check and clean everything
I think the pin is there. or should it be longer? I don't know how Dan saw it in my photo.The ring locator pin caused it all most likely. Stuff really flys around in there, doesn't take much to wipe a bearing out tbh.
