Yes still no luck in getting the MCD started :( so im going to strip the engine and go from there. Just woudering how can i clean the engine, piston, head crank etc.
 
Wash it out with petrol I did to mine got the grit out from the bottom of crankcase just make sure to wear some gloves petrol hurts your cuts even the ones you never new where there :lol:
 
Yeah and try to flush the bottom end out the petrol will go everywhere but should get it out if any is there and won't leave any residue behind do the same with the head, saves taking the whole bottom end apart and getting a new gasket set

just dip the head in fuel and shell i just tilt the car to take the fuel out the bottom end ?
 
Yeah give it a good shake about then have a look at it see if anything is still on it, the crankcase may leak a bit when you do it but you should see some crap come out if you have any in there just don't cover the patio in fuel (Like I didn't honest) :p

:) thanks for the info buddy ill do that soon, ive just been stripping the car taking the fuel tank out engine cover etc going to take the head off next and clean it ! ahah mate my house is sticking off fuel atm people are complaining :P
 
Brake cleaner work pretty good too. I buy them when they go for $3 a can and stock up.

I even re-use the stuff to clean my air filters.

Yeah brake cleaner is good but man the stuff kicks up a fuss :p

Tell them to get out the house if they don't like it, if not display you Alpha-ness by grunting at them :D
