Guys,

As some of you will know from being over at Deeside on Sunday 24, 1275Mini came down with his Heli's and we got to talking about an approved place to run.

I have just spoken to Barry (1275mini) and I have arranged to meet him this Sunday at the Heli field/Moto X track to have a look round and get a feel for the place and also to canvas some of the other Heli guys about us joining them. I will be meeting Barry around 10:30 on Sunday morning.

I think from the guys over at Deeside last weekend the feeling is that we need an official place to run and possibly look to form a club where things can be a little more organised while still having fun both bashing and racing.

The Heli site is close to 'Two Mills' Honda dealership (5 mins from Deeside) and from what I have been told it is approx. 2/3 times the size of the plot we run at Deeside.

1. Do a few of the local guys want to meet me at the Heli club to have a look and see if this proposed new site would be good for us?

2. Can those seriously interested in forming a club post up so we can gauge numbers.

My PM is full so please don't send me one as I can't answer and I don't want to pay out for more. (I'm from Yorkshire, Short arms and deep pockets )

Cheers Charlie, lets hope we get a favourable response to this. I can't make Deeside either, kids etc.

I'm too up for us to get an Offical site/club off the ground, i can't make the trip to join you at the new proposed site this Sunday either as i've got somethings on this weekend, i would have defo been there otherwise.

Take lots of pics and post up.

I'm sure we'll get at least 10 to 15 to join us straight from the off. Think Barry said we'd need to get the insurance which is approx £17 plus we prob would have to join the Heli Club @ approx £40pa which pays the Farmer for the use of the grounds.

Yes yes yes i'm in.

Barry also said we would prob have to get some old tyres for the track layout, i'll prob be able to get some as i know someone who has a Part Used Tyre place. As soon as we get the go ahead i'll ask him and see how many we could use.

at that price its a no brainer really :) no one sayin we're too noisy and twaty cso's movin us on ;)

like he said though it would have to be a bit more organised and settin out a track for those who want to race and a spot to bash so we don't get in the way of the heli boys as deeside is a bit like wakey racers at the mo :lol:

ian thats no problem we use a small independant tyre guy at work and it costs him to get rid so i bet he would let me take as many as we need :):)

Hi Jon
Cheers for doing alot of groundwork i'd be up for a proper club
As everyone has been saying peace of mind not going to get moved on etc

Count me in for sure dudes !!

Sounds like a great idea , and like Charlieboy said, for that sort of money , ya can't complain !!:D

I'm up for Deeside this sunday but can only get over there for about 2ish unfortunately. Keep us posted on your meet-up BiggaJ , and +1 on the pics if you get a chance to take some of the moto-x track.

This is all starting to sound very exciting !!!!!:w00t::D

im in guys, when i was invited to deeside for the first time there was only 5/6 bashers now we have reached 18/19. if the new site is suited for us and we get a club going i will see if we can get some sponsorship from some rc dealers( if you don't ask you don't get) as for tyres any local tyre companies have to pay to get rid, so i think they might be happy to help...
a deeside club... its getting exciting....:lol:
