looks good man however, heres a list of parts you may want to consider as i didnt see them on your list of haves:

ds dogbones or flm cvd's
rpm arms or flm arms
hostile rear hubs
tr upper plate (you didnt specify which you had but both would be a required part)
threshold umbrella seals
gh shock bodies
phatdad shock shafts
outerwears
modified rc V1 rear bumper
killer rc stainless ps cable
shreadstack
phatdad rear engine brace set
ds axle extenders
lauterbacher or elecon clutch
gh aluminum rear shock tower supports
flm diff cups
spanny fuel line kit
team chase diaphragm filter
DDM 5000 Mah rx battery

with these added items you will have a better chance of actually being able to run your hpi baja but there will be no guaruntees, i have all of the items i listed as well as some you have listed and more and i am still not able to do any running with my baja, currently i have engine issues which should not be happening with as little use as mine has but i am still troubleshooting the issue and will no more tomorrow when i test it with an rx battery i made from one of my old 3300 race packs.

if it turns out to be the rx batt it honestly wouldnt surprise me at this point.

Not one for asking stupid questions ( ) but if you change so many parts, just how many of the original ones actually remain?
Is it not worth simply getting the hop-ups and forgetting the 'donor' car as it's relatively superfluous?

yeah well stupid me i listened to others claiming the hpi was of great quality however i ended up with one that made it past QC (not hard when hpi doesn't check every single one off the line and check in a random way just like all manufacturers do which gives tehm a certain percentage of failures). of course when you start informing others as to the nature of your personal baja if and when you have these issues you get called a liar and get bashed on by the fanboys who will NEVER answer the simple question of "did you ever run your baja box stock? and if so how long?, nore will they answer how much of their "high quality" baja is actually still stock. as far as skipping the donor car, i never expected to be required to buy all these hop ups, if i had known i was going to be required to do so i would have in fact skipped buying the hpi all together and went with somethign else possibly onroad.

parts left, as in the stock parts still on the car? or are you referring to the parts i pulled off? if you are referring to the parts i pulled off they went to the dump (if you want them feel free to go dumpster diving but rest assured teh parts i pulled off are inferior quality busted garbage).

if you are referrign to genuine parts still on teh car here is a list off teh top of my head:

engine (although it required work because it was acting up and required a new carb, intake manifold and gaskets)
stock plastic bulkheads
chassis
rear chassis plat (on teh chopping block though as it is a weak part IMHO)
front bumper
front shock tower supports
rear shock towers
rear plastic upper bumper part
radio box
fuel tank
bellcranks
hinge pin holders
light pods
rollcage
wing
spur gear
pinion gear
ninja stars
brake pads
brake discs
wheels
front tires (rears have been replace with hd versions although they look dry rotted now)
front and rear rims
beadlocks (on teh chopping block because they are warped and one inner is cracked at one of teh mountign bolt locations)

that is just a list of parts i can think of off top of my head that are still box stock

Got me self a vcr bigbore side pipe unsilenced and a 27 Zenoah bigbore race port headkit also added yamadude throttle/brake linkage
