Well i ordered the Hpi clutch should be here Friday. Sucks the local hobby shop didn't have it in stock but i picked up a Hitec 5755 for my Fg Baja so i guess I'll work on that in the mean time

Hope it does good. If you have someone close that can lighten and true it. Again, would not be race legal.

sounds like your old shoes are zenoah shoes, and the new hpi ones are CY. the bolts are different sizes, im not sure about intercharging clutch parts, somebody else will need to pipe up.

That gap is about .02 (.04 difference), so should not affect it much. If anything I would think it would just give just a slight uneven wear on the shoe.

hi,very nice, is it the lwb? I have afg lwb and think its quite tricky to drive with a 23cc engine, had thought of putting a 29 head on but got advised by sharky not too for the same reasons, and he was right!!There is definatly sense in what he has advised you. I have been negotiating on a mcd rally in the last few days as they are 4wd( i don't race and haven't the best skill at controlling these 1/5s lol) hpoe it goesd well!

well i ordered the hpi clutch shoe bolts from ddm just to be safe.

If I recall they may be a tad long (or was that short?) on the shoulder dimensions. If they are a few simple washers will fill that gap as well. If i have time I will pull and measure the dimension of the shoulder on the bolts tonight.

Well i was looking at getting a new body so far these are my top picks

Fk Honda Accord
Fg Alfa Romero
Opel coup and Mercedes clk but im not shore these will fit the long chassie

What do you guys think and if anyone of you guys are running one of these body's would you post a picture of it please thanks.

No, as soon as i went to run it my throttle servo failed on me it was a jr 9000t. I need to replace the servo and it might be a good idea to get a kill switch as well. Thank God it died right after i started the car up not even the failsafe could of saved me if i started driving it.

What are you guys using for a throttle brake servo. I was thinking of trying a Hitec 5645 168 oz of torque since it a little cheaper, but I'm not shore if it will be able to handle front and rear cable brakes. That's one thing about buying used you just don't know when somethings going to fail.
