how about the diff and drive shafts , cups, clutch bell, bearings and all the other stuff that will be under a lot more strain with 15hp running thru them.

Im sure miniripper is something to do with MMR so spares will be no problem and its a good pro-mo piece for them......you don't evolve without a few mad hatters trying out new ideas to be bigger & better :D

the drivetrain holds up well actually. ive got around 2-3 or so gallons through mine now. they are so easy to start, easier than a zen, to be honest. the power is crazy but the high gearing is not for me. i tried 28/46 first time out and ate the clutch in a tank. been running 22/52 and it is great. tried 24/50 yesterday and i think they are to high. the engine has plenty of power to pull them although the bottomend looses its snap but when it hits the pipe it balls out thats for sure. the quote in the post earlier in this thread said they got 18200 with 26/48! that truck was moving like something mad. in a 800ft. area i couldnt get close to wot with 28/46 and with the 24/50's yesterday i couldnt get to wot. it was flying and the tires were prolly 10" round, they were ballooning so much, lol. next im trying 21/53, i think im gonna like them alot, as i like torque down low. its a beast, and it is freaking loud. up close it hurts your ears!

it is worth the money if you seek the ultimate engine and money is no problem. it is a beautiful piece, you really don't get that feeling from pics but when it is in your hands you will be in awe of it. and, it prolly weighs about three times what a zen engine setup wieghs!

Having seen some of the engines from BZM/MMR at an event recently, I wouldn't even consider buying and tbh if I got one as a gift it would be on ebay as a paperweight. The 26cc all singing all dancing super tuned motor I saw on the bench as a raffle prize looked awfull with very rough castings and it didn't look as it had been finished well at all. The ones in the cars didn't look any better - you have to ask how many have been sold or should I say how many are on a shelf at MMR. They claim to be bigger and better than zenoah and that they're the only tuner to make their own complete engine but I know what would go for.

600 units sold to date of the micro's

50 x Pro MX50's

I'm happy with that.

Mmr can't even keep them on the shelf long enough

Some of the biggest companies are stocking them.

You almost sound jealous! What gives with you.

Buy the way the raffle winner bought another 3 engines. That's how pleased he was.

ive seen the pro mx pull off around 115mph, i heard they have enough torque to pull tall gears but that is crazy, they sound the bo77ox too! performance very impressive.heard about the clutch issues but to be expected with the power it produces.as a balls out basher engine it would be fun,its a shame they only seem to go in baja's. and before someone says it, yes, there are other rc cars out there that are strong enough to cope if the hpi bajas do!

We have 50's in the losi also.

Thanks for the appreciation.

They are all seat of your pants extreme engines. The baja is hands down the most popular platform. Hence the fitment to the baja.

We were lucky it fitted the losi.

Cheers losi.
